The Nook Tablet

I’m a week late with this post, but oh well, that’s life.

The Nook Tablet is in “the game” now but more so, I love the idea of the Nook, the Kindle Fire, and the iPad all mixed together now, competing the market.  More ereading devices are going to be in readers hands than ever.  And these devices are becoming entertainment devices, hosting not just books but music and movies, etc.

What caught me about the Nook Tablet that I find really cool is that you can record a story in the tablet and have it played back later… so imagine reading a book for your children and then heading off to work or something and your child can then play the story back.  Pretty cool stuff for me.

As an author and numbers guy, the best part of what I read states that it’s estimated 1.5 million Nook’s will be sold by the end of January 31, 2012.

Without stating too much of the obvious, that’s now 1.5 million MORE ereaders in hands… smile, it’s a great time to be a writer and own your own company…
